Mother's Day

Ah, yes, the day of moms, to appreciate the people who have given 24 hours a day, 7 days a week all for US. Show appreciation for the woman in your life who had two hours or more of labor on this annual day! Believe me, they deserve it.
Here's some background about this special day for moms. This day was actually celebrated by Greeks honoring the goddess Rhea. Christians celebrated it on the fourth Sunday of Lent to honor Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. Later, they had the holiday include all mothers. In 1907 a Philadelphia schoolteacher named Anna M. Jarvis went to put this day as a national day to honor her mother. In 1914, it became one! Now it's actually a global holiday and many countries celebrate.
Congrats to our amazing, wonderful, beautiful, awesome mothers!

I LOVE YOU MOMMY!
